What Creative Techniques are Used to Attract Attention
Gossip Girl is filmed all over the world, and sometimes to keep the watcher involved they use fast flashes of the scene so you can't always see the full image you just get quick glimpses. Gossip Girl also has a lot of advertisements like commercials and posters that look attracting to the eye. And in the show the characters are very wealthy and with that they are able to buy themselves out of anything, like if they get in trouble, and they can get people to do whatever they want. But their money also gets them in trouble and that is what makes this TV series interesting.
How might different people understand this message differently
Teenager which this tv series is mostly meant to be sent to, they take it as that these character's lives are so interesting, complex, and exciting that they would want to have that life. And I think that most television shows hook watchers by making the character's lives so unrealistic for a normal person, that people stay interested, because the things that happen in this would never happen to a normal person in real life. I don' t think that children would understand this TV it is just to complex and grown up for them to understand. And I think that adults would see this TV as foolish because, the Tv is unrealistic so they don't find it amusing.
What are the different lifestyles in this show?
There are only a few different lifestyles in this show. And many of the characters in this show are very wealthy young adults. But in this show there is only one character who can't afford everything that the people at his school can. But watchers get to see how he looks at the wealthy people and how he judges them so quickly from what they have. But also the thing that makes this show so interesting is how the character's money and reputation gets them into trouble.
